Sandcast Talismans

Workshop

Join Keri-Mei on a two-day workshop creating your own talisman whilst exploring its personal and cultural significance.

Day 1 focuses on learning the ancient sand casting technique using fimo or found objects, casting metal, and bringing your design to life.

Day 2 will be refining your piece through sawing, sanding, and polishing, then add a cord for a wearable taonga (treasure) to take home that day.

Led by an experienced tutor with over six years of expertise, this workshop is open to all skill levels, offering hands-on learning in both jewellery-making techniques and talisman symbolism.

The workshop ticket price includes materials worth up to $100
