For makers, wearers and viewers

WHAKATŪ, AOTEAROA

OPULENCE 555

Exhibition

Im a jewellery maker from Nelson. I live in Bangkok with my partner Gap and our cat Milo.

I started making jewellery when I was 14, melting down my mother’s gold rings and making them into something new.

Currently I’m interested in working with found objects and conceptual ideas. I’m fascinated by fashion, luxury and consumerism . I like to twist the way we look at traditional iconic jewellery and how we wear it.

Opulence 555 is a tongue-in-cheek group of 5 pendants, each one has an iconic piece of jewellery imbedded inside.
